1. Digital breast tomosynthesis

   • It provides better diagnostic accuracy compared to mammography, creates a three-dimensional image, compression is performed to improve the image and reduce the level of radiation, high resolution data is acquired, greater cancer detection is related.

2. Xeromammography

   • Photoelectric method that records an x-ray image on a metal plate, uses low-energy photon beams, prolonged exposure time and dry chemical developers, is used as a complement to mammography.

3. Galactography

   • Diagnostic procedure used to evaluate the milk ducts of the breast, it is carried out through x-rays, a radiopaque substance is used that is injected through the milk ducts, evaluates the nipple discharge, it should not be performed if the nipple has discharge with pus.

4. Ultrasound

6. Scintigraphy

7. Mammography

   • Technique used for the diagnosis and early detection of breast cancer with the use of x-rays.
