1. Medios de transporte: Utilizaremos IN o ON dependiendo del transporte

   • En el coche: In the car En un taxi: In a taxi
   • En el tren: On the train En el bus: On the bus En bicicleta: On bike En patinete: On scooter En monopatín: On skateboard A pie: On foot

2. Al mencionar las partes del día en general se utiliza IN

   • In the morning: Por la mañana In the evening: Por la tarde In the afternoon: Por la tarde
   • Para Night sólo se utiliza el artículo en la expressión: In the middle of the nigth: En mitad de la noche
   • At nigth: Por la noche

3. Hablando del fin de semana

   • Británico: At the weekend
   • Americano: On the weekend

4. Para describir donde estás

   • Para destacar que se encuentra dentro de un edificio en concreto y quizá haciendo una actividad que no es propia del mismo
     • I´m in the school
   • En un lugar haciendo una actividad propia del mismo
     • I´m at school

5. Errores más comunes con las preposiciones On In At

   • Usar indebidamente At para mencionar partes del día
     • Nos vemos por la mañana a las 10:00 Mal: I´ll see you at the morning at 10 o´clock Bien: I´ll see yoy in the morning at 10 o´clock
   • Utilizar IN con todos los medios de transporte
   • Con el verbo To arrive
     • At: al hablar de lugares como un aeropuerto, una estación, un banco
       • I arrived at the bank just as it opened
     • In: al hablar de ciudades o paises
       • We arrived in Paris at 8 pm
     • To: Nunca con este verbo Mal: I arrived to the bank Mal: We arrived to Paris
