   • When earths surface is heated, it radiates most of the energy back into the atmosphere as infrared radiation

   • heat is measured with a thermometer in degrees of celcius or farenhight

   Anmerkungen:

   • winds are caused by differences in the air pressure. 
   • wind is measured by a anemometer
   • wind chill factor makes you colder than the actual temprature

   • sea breeze, land breeze
3. global winds

   Anmerkungen:

   • global convection currents the coriolis effect

   • doldrums horse latitudes trade winds prevailing westerlies polar easterlies jet steams
