Sparta gave their women rights and the same freedoms as men unlike many other
city-states
"Spartan women were freer than your average Greek female, they were actually implemented in order to ensure
that Spartan society progressed as disciplined, powerful, and threatening."
Other city-states did not give their women freedoms like Sparta. Such as the fact that
Sparta let their women to talk and participate in athletic activities with men and let them
go to school.
Sparta had a developed and well organized military that was better than any other
city-state's
"Sparta was not necessarily a city it was an army with a city-state; while Athens
was a city-state with an army.
Sparta took pride in their army. Essentially they had the best army in Ancient
Greece this was a result of a developed and disciplined way of training their warrior.
