1. g. describe, interpret and create critical path analysis (CPA) and Gantt charts, and for each explain its suitability for use in a given application.

   • Critical path analysis (CPA)
     • shows relationship between different parts of the project - large projects are broken into lots of smaller interrelated ones
     • Process of identifying how tasks fit together so they can fit in a logical order
     • Allows project manager to identify the critical path through a project - plan and order in which tasks should take place and completed by
     • A task that relies on another task being completed is called a dependent task
   • Gantt Charts

2. h. describe, interpret and create data flow diagrams and flowcharts, and for each explain its suitability for use in a given application.
