Inversion
Inversion happens when we reverse (invert) the normal word order of a structure, most commonly the subject-verb word order. For example, a statement has the subject (s) before the verb (v), but to make question word order, we invert the subject and the verb, with an auxiliary (aux) or modal verb (m) before the subject (s):
[S]She [V]sings.
[AUX]Does [S]she [V]sing?
[S]They [AUX]are [V]working.
[AUX] [S]Are they [V]working?
[S]Joe [M]can [V]swim.
[M]Can [S]Joe [V]swim?
When does inversion happen?
The most common type of inversion is question word order (see above). Inversion also happens in other situations.
Negative adverbs
In formal styles, when we use an adverb with negative meaning (e.g. never, seldom, rarely, scarcely, hardly) in front position for emphasis, we invert the subject (s) and auxiliary (aux)/modal verb:
Never [AUX]have [S]we witnessed such cruel behaviour by one child to another. (or We have never witnessed …)
Seldom does one hear a politician say ‘sorry’. (or One seldom hears …)

All
All en castellano significa todos/as y tiene que venir acompañado posteriormente con un nombre en plural. Se puede referir tanto a personas y cosas en general o a personas y cosas en un grupo determinado. Veamos unos ejemplos:
All teenagers have a mobile phone.
All of my friends have a computer.
Most
Most en castellano significa la mayoría y también tiene que venir acompañado posteriormente de un nombre en plural. Se puede referir tanto a personas y cosas en general o a personas y cosas en un grupo determinado.
Most people have TV in their bedroom.
Most of my friends have a car.
No / None
No suele referirse al castellano como ninguno/a, pero tiene que llevar un nombre singular o plural posteriormente. Veamos unos ejemplos:
No house has a gym.
No houses have a gym.
En cambio, para usar none, que también significa ninguno, tenemos que añadir posteriormente of + the+ nombre en plural para usarlo con personas o cosas de un grupo determinado:
None of the teachers is qualified.
None of the teachers are qualified.
Both
Both suele referirse al idioma castellano como ambos y suele ir acompañado por un nombre plural. Lo usamos para hablar de dos cosas o personas.
Ejemplo:
Both teachers are nice. (Laura & Andrew)
Either
Either tiene la traducción en castellano como cualquier (o uno u otro) y suele ir acompañado de un nombre singular. Además, se utiliza también para hablar de dos cosas o personas.
Ejemplo:
Either pen is OK.
Neither
Neither en cambio, significa ningún y va acompañado de un nombre singular. Y como en los dos anteriores casos, se utiliza para hablar sobre dos cosas o personas.
Ejemplo:
Neither pen writes.
