This final term paper has the purpose of clarifying the integrated management system - IMS , with focus on production. A methodology used in the literature, articles, interview and knowledge of the area, to achieve reliable foundation. The basic concept of IMS is based on the technology of integrating as information of a company in this system, as well as a quick and analytical analysis of data instantly, this system is generic and applies to all sectors of the company with an altered structure according with the needs of each sector. In the development of the work there is a history of the origin of the system, brief explanations about each module that system can offer and an importance of the system implemented in the company resulting in a great competitive advantage in the current market. The well-implemented production system will generate time for process optimization, traceability, and product unification for multiple products with product family subscriptions and subsets. The data entered in the security system is used to optimize a decision making by the responsible manager. We conclude that a great competitive advantage occurs when having a system implemented, it is not the current technology is essential for a survival of a company without market, being that the IMS system is not a tool, if used efficiently it will optimize processes, a data transition of the company increasing profits.
