In this PD tools to help teachers personalized instruction

were presented in the form of a NearPod lesson.

Teachers worked at their own pace (the Nearpod was set to ‘Homework’

mode so it was asynchronous). Tools

included on the Nearpod were NewsELA and SeeSaw; additionally Nearpod was used

so that teachers could see how useful it would be as a personalized learning

tool in the classroom. Sway

presentations were provided to the teachers for additional information on

NewsELA and SeeSaw.
