DEFINITION OF TECHNOLOGY:

The set of skills and techniques used to meet human needs and resolve the problems of everyday life.

NEEDS:

Shelter (flats, houses), food (refrigerator, microwave, blender), clothing (pants, shirts, skirts), transport (bus, aeroplane, bicycle), leisure (amusement parks, video games), health and hygiene (X-Ray machine, syringe, soap), communication (telephone, television, newspaper)and work (computer, calculator, tools).

TECHNOLOGICAL KNOWLEDGE:

The sum of scientific knowledge (physics, mathematics, drawing, etc.), technical knowledge (working techniques, tools, machines, etc.), and the social influence of the time (customs, environmental considerations, etc).

THE PROJECT APPROACH.

The project approach is an orderly method of dealing with and resolving the practical problems affecting any society.

SOLUTION:

Problem > Research > Possible solutions > Chosen solution.

Is the document we need before building begins. It describes what we need to do and how it should be done.

-Materials and tools.

-Budget.

-Tasks.

THE REPORT:

The report is the document produced after the project is built. It contains all the details of the construction.
