TCP Connections are established using the 3-way handshake.
First a SYN is sent with a sequence value of x.
The receiver then acknowledges this request by sending a SYN, with Sequence number y and Acknowledgement number x+1.
The original sender then sends Sequence number x+1 and acknowledgement number y+1
