- 1What does ROM stand for?Read-Only Memory. The contents of ROM are meant to be stored on a permanent basis, the purpose of ROM is to store small amounts of data.
- 2What is this?A Soundcard. The soundcard produces sound that can be heard by the user through speakers or headphones.
- 3What does RAM stand for?RAM stands for Random Access Memory. All of the programs you have open are saved in the RAM, RAM is saved an it can be changed.
- 4What does CPU stand for? What does it do?CPU stands for central processing unit. The CPU is responsible for executing a sequence of stored instructions called a program.
