WHY ENGLISH? - "easy" to pronounce for German speakers - wide range - Basic grammar for communication enough - Little vocab needed to communicate meaningfully
CONS of ENGLISH as the GLOBAL PLAYER to become a professional Speaker you need - a wide range of vocab - complex grammar structures --> also native speakers talk rather fast which makes it difficult to understand
WHEN is ENGLISH HELPFUL? - for travelling - when you apply for a job - for social media platforms/ online platforms - for an apprenticeship/job in a foreign Country - to understand lyrics
HOW TO LEARN A FOREIGN LANGUAGE - visit courses - watch films/clips in foreign language - read books/comics/magazines - listen to foreign language music/podcasts/radio - use the foreign language as much as possible
