What do the SHIFT keys do? When held down, keys will type capital letters or the character at the top of a key.
What is the name of the key that allows you to start a new line? The Enter or Return Key
What are the four arrow keys collectively known as? The Cursor Keys
What does the ESC key do? Escapes! It is an alernative to clicking on a Cancel button or Exit option.
What does the CTRL key allow you to do? The CTRL (Control) key allows you to access short cuts on your keyboard. There are two of these.
Which keys allow you to delete unwanted text? The Backspace and Delete keys.
What is the purpose of the TAB key? This key moves your cursor by 1.27 cm intervals to help line up text neatly. You can also set your own tab stops to minimise key strokes.
