- The Visigoths founded a kingdom in Hispania (capital: Toledo). The Visigothic Kings wanted to unite the Visigoths and the native Hispano-Romans: - to achieve this, they conquered most of the Peninsula and adopted Catholicism (religión of the Hispano-Romans).
AFTER THE WARS
Annotations:
- The old Roman cities were abandoned. Most of the visigoths lived in small rural communities dedicated to: - arable - livestock farming People were poor and there was very little trade.
