  1. RAM- Random access memory
    1. All the data save on here is deleted/lost when the computer is turned off
      1. The RAM also needs power to work
        1. The two differ cause of that, one saves data, the other doesn't
    2. ROM- Read only memory
      1. Unlike the RAM, the ROM saves the data even when the computer is turned off
        1. And if this was removed, the computer wouldn't turn on as it wouldn't know even know how to turn on
          1. But the ROM doesn't need power to be working
