Tetris Guide
  1. Step 1: Choose the level that you are most comfortable with and go a level lower. It's a good warm-up for the next level.
    1. Step 2: The first tetromino is probably would be bad or a S or a Z. So just hold the tetromino and use it later.
      1. Step 3: When placing down tetrominoes you should place them where they make a flat surface. Making spires of blocks makes the game a lot harder.
        1. Step 4: Here's a few things to keep in your head while placing tetrominos. First you should look for the place that it would fit best. Then, look at the next blocks, so you know how to prepare for the next blocks.
          1. Step 5: Making flat surfaces is a really helpful. When you make a flat surface you make a space for 5 out of 7 tetrominos, so you get a wider playing space with a flat surface.
            1. Step 6: A really good general tip for Tetris is remembering what each block can do. Like only the orange L can wrap around like this, or the S block is the only one that can fit there. It makes the game a little bit less stressful when you know where to place it off the bat
              1. Step 7: Making a reserve spot for the long blue tetromino is a good strategy. It allows you to make tetrises (I will explain why tetrises are important) Keeping the slot reserved for the long tetromino makes the playing field have another smaller goal to focus on as well.
                1. Step 8: The reason why Tetrises are important to the game is because they make the game easier longer. The game gets harder with every clear you make, and not how many lines were cleared. So a tetris which counts as a single 4 line clear. So the game would stay a lot easier for longer.
                  1. Step 9: You really have to look at the upcoming blocks, it's there for a reason. You can look at the upcoming and prepare the screen for those blocks. Mistakes can happen less if you look ahead. Also, it makes you look cooler if everything beautifully falls into place.
                    1. Step 10: A useful skill to have we playing Tetris is a t-spin play. Basically, you can see where the current block can fit and you start rotating the block until it magically fits into place. With practice, you can fix many mistakes before they happen. T-spins are very difficult for beginners because it's hard to know if a spot is able to make a t-spin. I don't know how to do a good t-spin either, so I make a lot of mistakes most of the time.
                      1. Step 11: If you make a mistake (which is going to happen) you have to look at the upcoming block and come up with a plan. The plan should be to get rid of line directly above the mistake, and waiting for the right block to fill most of it. When building up to get rid of a mistake avoid building on top of the mistake, that creates more lines to the get rid of before the mistake. Also, it's ok to use the long blue block's slot to get rid of the mistake it's fine.
