  1. Students will be given clear and timely information on assessment.
    1. Information given to students, including on the assessment criteria sheet, will include:
      1. advice about the assessment methods
        1. assessment procedures
          1. the competencies against which they will be assessed
            1. when and how they will receive feedback
            2. Where possible, students will be included in discussions on choice of assessment methods and timing.
              1. Students will be made aware of their responsibilities in regard to assessment.
                1. The assessment approach chosen will cater for the language, literacy and numeracy needs of students.
                  1. Any special geographic, financial or social needs of students will be considered in the development and conduct of the assessment.
                    1. Reasonable adjustments will be made to the assessment strategy to ensure equity, while maintaining the integrity of the assessment outcomes.
                      1. Opportunities for feedback and review of all aspects of assessment will be provided to students.
