  1. CUMBIA: The cumbia is a musical rhythm and traditional folkloric dance of Colombia. It has contents of three cultural aspects, mainly indigenous and black African and, to a lesser extent, white (Spanish), being fruit of the long and intense mestizaje between these cultures during the Conquest and the colony.
    1. VALLENATO:The vallenato or music vallenata is an autochthonous musical genre of the Colombian Caribbean Coast with epicenter in the old province of Padilla (current south of La Guajira, north of the Cesar and east of the Magdalena) and ancestral presence in the savanna region of the departments of Bolivar , Sucre and Córdoba.
      1. JOROPO:The joropo is a musical genre and traditional dance of Venezuela and Colombia. Its diversity is manifested in different sub-regional typologies. These include the eastern joropo, the central joropo (with some specificities such as joropo tuyero, joropo mirandino or joropo aragüeño), the Andean joropo and the larense blow in Venezuela; In addition to the joropo llanero, typical of the colombo-venezuelan plains.
        1. CARRANGA:The carranga, carranguera music or peasant music, is a genre of folk music originated in the Colombian Andean region, more precisely in the department of Boyacá in the 70s, with the composer Jorge Velosa and the Carrangueros de Ráquira.
          1. MAPALE:The Mapale is an Afro-Colombian dance rhythm. Its name comes from the fish teleosterus Cathorops mapale, whose movements very fast out of the water, on the beach, are compared with the agility and strength of those who dance.
            1. BAMBUCO:Bambuco is a dance and an indigenous musical genre of Colombia, considered one of the most representative of that country, so much that it has come to be recognized between the national emblems and as part of the folklore of this nation.
              1. CURRULAO:The currulao is a musical rhythm, although strictly speaking it refers to the indigenous Colombian folkloric dance of the Pacific Region, whose variants can also be observed in regions of Ecuador. Traditionally it was known as old bambuco, and it is a dance oriented towards the cortege. Its origin is closely related to the Afro-descendant culture of the region
                1. PORRO:Porro is a musical rhythm of the Colombian Caribbean Region, traditional of the departments of Cordova, Bolivar, Atlantic and Sucre. It has a rhythmic rhythm, cheerful and partying, suitable for dancing in pairs. It runs in 2/2 time bar or, as it is popularly said in America, party beat.
