Your brain has formed patterns for different letters, making them recognizable even in different typefaces and fonts. Serifs and San Serif fonts are completely equal in readability. Just try and avoid decorative fonts that deviate from the recognizable pattern, because they interfere with the pattern recognition of a person’s mind. If the font is difficult to read, that makes it harder for a person to read and fully understand the rest of the content.
