intro)Ancient Egyptians believed in an afterlife when someone died.  Mummification helped someone reach the afterlife as they thought that, in order to have an afterlife, the dead person would have to repossess his or her body. Egyptians believed that the only way to do this was if the body was recognisable.

 1) have your jackal mask ready do u can dress up like the god Anubis

3)use a long hook to pull out the brains

2)wash the body with water or plam wine

4)cut of the left side of the stomach and remove the liver lungs intestines and the stomach

5)cover the internal organs with natron to absorb all moisture

6) cover the body in natron for 40 days to dry

7)place a magic charm over the stomach wound and a scarab beetle over the heart

8)place a mast made from linen and glue over the persons head and shoulders

10)tell the relative the mummy and the canopic jars are ready for burial
