Definitions of Learning Strategies

Learning Strategies are study skills, or methods for gathering information or improving skills. 

To learn is to acquire information, or facts, and to study is to try to learn.

Facts are information, or facts/ knowledge.

Methods are techniques, or ways of doing things.

Skills are talents, or natural abilities.

Abilities are what You can do.

Taking notes is an example of a learning strategy, study skill, and the ability to gather any information that will help you in the long run.
