5. Hajj - 4What is Shahadah?Shahadah is the Testimony and Declaration of Faith that all Muslims must do in order to be muslims
- 5What is Salah?Salah is Praying. Muslims must pray 5 times a day.
- 6When must Muslims Pray?1. In the morning

3. In the afternoon
4. Early Evening
5.At night time - 7What are the 4 rituals that Muslims must perform before praying?1. They must perform Wudu
2. They must pray at a clean place
3. They must face Mecca
4. They must pray at the correct time - 8What is Zakah?Zakah is a way of purifying your wealth. Muslims must give at least 2.5% of their earnings to the poor or charity.
- 9What is Sawm?Sawm is Fasting. Sawm is done in the month of Ramadan .Muslims cannot eat during daylight hours. Muslims fast to remind them to be patient and be aware of the poor and hungry people around the world.
- 10What is Hajj?Hajj is the pilgrimage that all Muslims must accomplish at least once in their lives if they can afford it.
Everyone must dress in white and perform certain rituals such as running around the Ka'bah 7 times. - 11What is the Minaret?The Minaret is the tower of the Mosque
- 12What is the Minbar inside the Mosque?The Minbar is the platform used for teaching
- 13What is the Mihrab?The Mihrab is the arch in the wall that shows the direction of Mecca
- 14What is Adhan?Adhan is the call to prayer
- 15What is needed in a Mosque in able to perform Wudu?The Abolition Fountain
- 16What do Muslims do in a Mosque?1. They go to say their 5 daily prayers
2. They can go to evening classes to recite the Qur'an in Arabic
3. They can simply go to focus and concentrate on God. - 17Why do Muslims wash before prayer?To physically and spiritually purify themselves
