Difference between laminated and tempered glass	Laminated glass consists of a piece of plastic sandwiched in between two layers of glass. This creates spidering and prevents shattering. Much harder to force entry than tempered glass. Tempered glass breaks easily into small evenly-sized pieces when hit with a sharp pointed object.
