1. Passive

   • Is when the action is more importat than the person doing it
     • "The flim is loaded into the camera automatically"
   • We use it when we don´t know who did something
     • "The camera was put togheter in a factory"
   • Is formed with the verb to be and the past participle
   • For modal it is formed with the modal + be + past participle
     • "Could be removed with ease#
   • It is sometime unnecessary to include the agent
     • If it obvious from the context of the sentence who did it
       • "She was arrested for spending"
         • It´s obviously going to be by a police man so it´s not necessary to include it
   • When the situation is in the present and the sentence needs to be impersonal
     • You can use the passive form of the verb + the onfinitive
       • "The president is believed to be in contac with the astronauts"

2. Active

   • Is when the person is more important than the action
     • "The substance helped stick bookmarks"
     • "It has saved the tea industry"
