Superlative adjectives

1. Têm objetivo de dar destaque a alguma coisa, dizendo que ela é a melhor, que não têm comparação com as demais.

   • Com adjetivos curtos, é necessário colocar o "the" e o "est". Ex: Cheap – the cheapest.
     • Alguns adjetivos precisam dobrar a última letra antes de por o "est". Ex: Big - the biggest ou Thin - the thinnest.
       • Quando terminado em "y", deve substitui-lo por "i", e depois, acrescentar o "est". Ex: Angry – the angriest.

2. Adjetivos longos, deve-se acrescentar "the most", e não coloca o "est". Ex: Beautiful – the most beautiful.

3. Existe excessões: Good – the best. Bad – the worst . Far – the farthest.
