Proper Integrals
- If f is a continuous function defined for a ≤ x ≤ b, we divide the interval [a, b] into n subintervals of equal width.
- If f is a continuous function defined for a ≤ x ≤ b, we divide the interval [a, b] into n subintervals of equal width.
Improper integrals
- It is the limit of a definite integral when one or both ends of the integration interval approached a number that is not within its domain, a ∞, 0 a - ∞.
- Improper integral type 1
- If ∫ a ^ t f (x) dx exists for every number t ≥ a, then
- If ∫ a ^ t f (x) dx exists for every number t ≥ a, then
- Improper integral type 2
- If f is continuous on [a, b) and is discontinuous on b, then.

- Improper integral type 1
- It is the limit of a definite integral when one or both ends of the integration interval approached a number that is not within its domain, a ∞, 0 a - ∞.
