RAM and ROM

1. ROM

   • Read-only memory is a class of storage medium used in computers and other electronic devices.
   • The ROM chip is physically attached to the motherboard.
   • The ROM is non-volatile.

2. RAM

   • Random access memory is a fast temporary type of memory in which programs,applications and data are stored.
   • The RAM can be replaced and upgraded.
   • The RAM is volatile

3. volatile memory.

   • volatile memory only stores information to run programmes whilst the computer is on.
