Elements of effective presentations

1. Practicing a presentation

   • It is important to practice, for see the weak points when have a presentation and memorize the theme, practicing can remove the fear or have more confidence when speaking in public.

   • During the practice of your speech look for occasions where you can use a gesture.

   • To stay relaxed you should be prepared. Also, focus on your message and not the audience. Use gestures, including walking patterns.

   • A picture is worth a thousand words, so you can sometimes use an image to replace a slide full of text.
