    1. Abraham

      Nota:

      • Abraham was the father of Hebrews. According to the Torah, God told him to introduce this new belief - Judaism, to the people. God told him to go to the promised land - Canaan. He also made the covenant between himself and God. God promised to favor and protect the descendants of Abraham.To show his loyal to the God, he even needed to kill his son. At last, God sent an angel to stop him.
      1. - The father of the Hebrews - Found the promised land - Had covenant between himself and God
      2. Moses

        Nota:

        • Moses was the great leader of the Hebrews. He was a prophet. God told him to free the Hebrews from being slaves in Egypt. God punished the Egyptians by giving them 10 terrible plagues. God then gave Moses the laws called the Ten Commandments.
        1. - Was a Prophet - Free the Hebrews - God gave him the Ten Commandments
        2. David & Solomon

          Nota:

          • David found the kingdom of Israel. He made Jerusalem the center of Israel's political and religious life. He also brought the Ark of he Covenant to Jerusalem. Solomon built the first and the great temple in Jerusalem for the Hebrews to worship God.

                • The Hebrews are not a great nation of people. They believe that their " God" is the true God of the world.
                1. - The people who believe in one " True" God - Were be treated as slaves by the Egyptians

                1. Jesus

                  Nota:

                  • Jesus was regarded as the Messiah of the Hebrews.  The Romans were considering that Jesus may lead a revolt. So they killed Jesus by nailed to a cross until dead. 3 days after his dead, he rose from the death. It's the Resurrection of Jesus.

                    Nota:

                    • It is where Jesus was born.

                    Nota:

                    • - Matthew - Mark - Luke - John
                    1. Gospels

                      Nota:

                      • Were composed by the 4 diciples of Jesus. It's the book which records the life of Jesus.
                    2. Paul

                      Nota:

                      • Paul was the missionary of Jesus. He opposed the new religion - Christianity at first. Yet Jesus gave him a mission - to spread out Christianity. He then adopted Christianity.
