        • - A great leader for Israelites - Helped the Jews escape from Egypt and slavery - The leader of the Exodus - The carrier of the Ten Commandments

          Annotations:

          • - Borned as an ordinary shepherd in the area of Judea - Killed Goliath, a giant of the Philistines, with only one stone and sling. - Became king after his father, Saul, fell in battle - Chose Jerusalem as the capital of the Kingdom of Israel. - Brought the sacred Ark of the Covenant to Jerusalem, making it a holy city for the Jews.

            • - As the son of King David, he became the king after David died. - Builder of the Great Temple in Jerusalem - Made treaties with other kingdoms - Famous for his wisdom

              • - Founder of Christianity - Was born in Bethlehem, but lived in Nazareth - Born Jew - Preached throughout his life to the poor and sick - Baptized by John the Baptist, and was confirm that he was the Messiah that the Jews hoping for. - Crucified by the Romans in approx. 27 CE. - Three days later, he rose from the dead. Because of this, his disciples saw him as son of God - Has 13 disciples - Told many parables, or short moral stories

                Annotations:

                • - Jesus' helpers - Mostly commoners, like laborers or fishermen - One of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, had betrayed him - After Jesus' resurrection, they've started to see him as son of God - Started to spread Jesus' teachings and news of his life after he returned to Heaven 
                1. Paul (or Saul)

                  Annotations:

                  • - Helped the persecution of the Christians before he converted to Christianity - Converted to Christianity and became a missionary after sawing and hearing Jesus in heaven, with a Christian healed him - Later in his life, he helped spread Christianity in Rome - Was prisoned and beheaded in 65 CE.

                    • - Helped the Roman Empire to convert to Christianity - Because seeing a cross on a sky and winning a war with the help of God, so Constantine converted into Christianity. - Was baptized before his death - Edith of Milan: a law which gave Christians freedom to practice their religion openly.

                      • - Another king which helped to spread Christianity - Banned all pagan religions during his reign - Declared Christianity as the official religion of the Roman Empire in 380 CE.
