Phases of the SDLC

1. Design

   • Early stages where by the appearance of the system is thought of. Also how it will work.

2. Analysis

   • The current system is analysed in order to see how it can be improved.
     • Feasibility study
       • A stage to check whether or not the system is worth doing
         • The old system is examined to see how it can be improved upon.
           • The old system is analysed and trailed to see how it works.
           • Also any documents or files produced from the old system are looked at
         • Current employs who use the system are interviewed
           • Holds meetings with current users to gain views and opinions
         • Views alternative solutions to the current system.
       • Requirements spec
       • Types of HCI

3. Implementation

   • The chosen design is implemented into the scenario. meaning it is put into use.

4. Maintainance

   • This is the end stage where by the system is maintained by the creator. This is to insure that the system keeps working

5. A source of creating and developing a new system, not always a computer based system.

6. Testing
