1. Supervised - Data is labled

   • Labels - correct answers to whatever we want to predict
   • We are learning from past examples to predict future
     • We have predictors to help predict what we don't know
       • Regression (Continous value) and classification (Discreet Value)

2. Unsupervised

   • Data does not have labels
   • All about discovery from data - see if data can be categorized
   • Need to use clustering algorithms to learn about data
