2. Verb+infinitive without to

   • Make and let are followed by the infinitive without to
   • Help can be followed by both ways
   • Modal verbs Had better, Would rather are followed by

3. Verb+ infinitive or -ing

   • With no difference in meaning
     • With this verbs
       • Like, Prefer, Hate and Love can be followed by both
     • Like+infinitive has a slight different meaning from like+ing
   • With a difference in meaning

4. When one verb follows another, the second verb is always either an ing situation or an infinitive

5. Verb+infinitive

   • With an object
     • Agree, Appear, attemp, hope, offer, seem, wish
   • Sometimes with an object
     • Would like, would love, would prefer
