1. Geosphere

   • Undiscovered land found
     • Companies mine oil and other resources
       • Lots of new resources found for our use
   • Arctic melts so earth warms
     • Albedo effect
       • At the rate ice melts albedo effect is seen and earth waters rise

2. Atmosphere

   • Ice melts so higher temp in oceans
     • Warmer temps=delay in growth of ice
       • Then ice melts early and grow late
         • More extreme heat and cooling cycles
     • World wide oceans heat up and heat up surrounding land
   • Ice melts and soil under thaws
     • Carbon in soil gets released
       • Carbon and methane now contributes to green house gases

3. Hydrosphere

   • Oceans Get warmer so Greenland ice melts faster
     • Greenland ice sheets melting=rise in waters
       • If Greenland ice all melts there will be a rise of 20 feet around the world
     • Albedo effect kicks in
       • Since that ice will melt to more water will appear so more heat will be consumed

4. Biosphere

   • Animals become endangerd
     • Bears have no path across and less access to food
     • Seals have lost birthing ground
     • Whales can’t hide from predators
     • Deer can’t get food because soil is frozen
     • Lots of other animals lose habitat
   • Way of life is changed for people that live there
     • Higher risk of ice breaking
     • Fishing made difficult
     • Old ways of hunting made obsolete
