1. Trojans

   • Trojans do not intend to copy themselves or to infect other files but usually steal information from your computer.
     • How to avoid Trojans?
       • Avoid downloading and installing programs unless you fully trust the publisher.
         • Never open unsolicited emails from unknown senders. Emails from people you don't know may contain links, attachments or other traps that can get you to inadvertently install Trojans.
           • Avoid to install free software from unknow web pages.

2. Worm

   • Replicate itself in order to spread to other computer, mostly through the network.
     • How to prevent them?
       • being careful and aware of what kind of emails and attachments you receive.
         • Update your anti-virus software .
           • Use Firewall.

3. Spyware

   • collects information about users without their knowledge. Spyware is hidden from the user and is very difficult to detect.
     • How to avert Spyware?
       • Change passwords frequently.
         • Choose "no" when asked unexpected questions.
           • Don't follow email links claiming to offer anti-spyware software.

4. Adware

   • Shows you advertisements without your permission form of a pop-up on in the user interface of a program.
     • How to avoid Adware?
       • Don't click on links within pop-up windows.
       • Do not click on ads that at first glance are false.
         • Scan your pc once a week and eliminate unknown processes.
