1. Direct Question

   • The direct question is in the present simple tense.
     • What are you doing?

2. Report Question

   • We need to change them back before putting the verb into the past simple.
     • She asked me what I was doing

3. Report speech

   • Want to tell someone else what the first person said
     • We use a verb like 'say' or 'tell' in the present tense: I=>she
       • She says she likes ice cream.

4. Direct speech

   • sometimes someone says a sentence.
     • I like ice cream.
