Systemic differences refers to the phonemic inventory of a language: phonemes' quality and quantity. In the case of RP and SE exist various differences. First of all, in RP we have the opposition between long and short vowel such as /fɪl/ and /fi:l/, while in SE this difference does not exist because RP does not have duration mark, hence we would have /fil/ for both the word feel and the word fill. Another example is the sound ʍ/ which exists in SE but not in RP. This sound is a voiceless labio-velar fricative in wh-word (unless followed by /u/, /ɔ/, or /o/, in which case it is pronounced /h/) which in RP is /w/. Hence we have /wɒt/in RP but /ʍɔt/ in SE.
