People use look & feel as their first indicator of trust.
When people look at a website, they make a first judgement on whether they trust it that is based on design factors. These design factors include poor navigation, color, text size, font choice, or the name of the website.
After people make their first gut-decision on whether or not to trust a website, they go on to further investigate the content to see if they really trust it or not. The credibility of a website for someone often depends on whether or not they trust the organization, or company that has posted the information.
