Present progressive The present progressive or continuous is a verbal tense of the present which is used in two cases: 1.- To describe facts or actions that the subject is performing at the moment of speaking. 2.- To talk about an action that we will perform in the near future.	Structure: In afirmative Pronoun + Auxiliary verb + verb -ing + complement + time Expression Example The children are sleeping right now
In negative Pronoun + auxiliary verb + not + verb -ing + complement + time Expression Example Kelly is not eating in her home at the moment.	Interrogative Auxiliary verb "to be" + pronoun + verb-ing + complement + time expression + ? Example Is Kelly eating in her home at the moment?
“To be” like Am, is, are. In negative I= Am not She, He= isn´t You, they, we= aren´t	ING 1.- If the verb only has one syllable and ends with a consonant, the same consonant is added: Cut-cutting Sit-sitting
2.- If verb ends in "e" it is removed and -ing added: Come – coming Write – writing 3.- If the verb ends in "ie" it is removed and added "y" followed by -ing	Time Expressions At the moment, Now, Today, This week/month, Tomorrow, Next week, Currently
