Video makers should have a particular audience in mind, which will determine the video's aim, content, sections and language.
Video structure should be gradually developed towards a particular aim.
Learning objectives or the aim of the video should be explicit in the video itself
Tutor must always introduce her/himself
Explanation should precede examples, or the other way round.
If practice is given, answers need to be included either in the video or in the video description
If there is no round- up, a video looks incomplete
Recaps are included whether the content is developed in one video or a series.
A video may not be self-contained: it can be complemented by other TLM
