Simple Present We use the simple present for habits, repeated actions and permanent states.
Present Progressive We use the present progressive for actions happening at the moment of speaking, for temporary states and future arguments. Example: what is Kelly doing now? she is listening to music
Simple Past Use actions that started and were complete at a specific time in the past. Example: we bought our house five years ago
Can-Could Could is the past tense of can. We use it to talk about ability in the past. Example: my sister could play the piano when she was seven.
Adverbs of manner Adverbs of manner describe how something happens. °We form most adverbs of manner (quiet- quietly) °Adjetives ending in a consonant +Y drop the Y and take ILY (easy- easily)
Past progressive For an actions that was happening at a specific point of the time in the past. Example: I was watching T.V 7 oclock yesterday evening.
Future will We use for predictions, usually with the verbs think and belive. Example: I think he will be a great actor one day On the sport decisions. Example: Fine, i will meet you in an hour
Comparatives We use the comparatives when we compare two people, animals or things Example: Mike is taller than Liz. Susan is more beautiful than Linda
