what are the two mechanism of homeostatic regulation? | autoregulation and extrinsic regulation |
How does autoregulation work? | This work by responding to some enviroment changes, where the organs or tissues adjust itself, to keep a constant internal enviroment. For example, low oxygen level increase chemicals which widens blood vessels to have more blood flow, meaning more oxygen delivered to cells that needs it. |
what is extrinsic regulation? | This reacts to any enviromental changes. it involves Nervous system releasing electrical signal to parts of the body or endocrine releasing chemical messenger, to keep a constant internal enviroment |
