Question Answer
Distance travelled Distance travelled = speed x time
Acceleration Acceleration = change in velocity / time taken
Force Force = mass x acceleration
Weight Weight = mass x gravitational field strength (N)
Efficiency Efficiency = useful energy transferred by the device/total energy supplied to the device
Momentum Momentum= mass x velocity
Wave speed Wave speed = wavelength(λ) x frequency
Wave speed wave speed = Distance(x)/time
Density Density = mass/volume
Work done Work done = Force x distance moved in the direction of the force
Change in gravitational potential energy ΔGPE = mass x gravitational field strength x Δheight
Kinetic energy KE= 1/2 x mass x (speed)²
Power Power = work done / time taken
Energy transferred Energy transferred = charge moved x potential difference
Charge Charge = current x time
Potential difference Potential difference = current x resistance
Power Power = energy transferred / time taken
Electrical power Electrical power = current x potential difference
Electrical power Electrical power = current² x resistance
Force exerted on a spring Force exerted on a spring = spring constant x extension
Momentum of a force Momentum of a force = force x distance normal to the direction of the force
Pressure Pressure = force normal to surface / area of the surface
