Why are Human Rights essential? Human Rights are extremely important because it ensures that everyone is equal - having equal opportunities etc.
What are Human Rights? Human Rights are rights that everyone is entitled to. The United Nations ensures that these rights are upholded.
Name a child right Children have the right to enough food and clean water, they have the right to education, shelter, culture, religion, family and to express their own opinion.
What is equality? The concept that allows everyone to be viewed and treated the same, no matter of their skin colour, gender etc.
What is racism? Racism is when people are discriminated for the colour of their skin.
What is sexism? Sexism is when someone is discriminated because of their gender.
Why are woman's rights important? Woman's rights are important because otherwise, men get better opportunities, better wages, better jobs etc. just because they have more testosterone than women.
What is the better gender - men or woman? I know that you all would have said women, but this was actually a trick question. Men and woman are equal to one another.

How do people help ensure that Human Rights are upholded? Protest form a huge part of Human Rights - due to the fact in lots of countries, Human Rights are ignored.
Are Human Rights currently being upholded? No.
Are Human Rights in New Zealand being upholded? Although in New Zealand, everyone has fairly equal rights, they are still nowhere near as good as they could be.
