difference between scientific fact and law? fact: an agreement between scientists that are the same about a phenomenon law: a theory or hypothesis that has been tested over and over again and has never failed
How is "changing your mind" viewed in the scientific community? scientists must be able to change their minds when their findings are contradicted
what is the penalty for fraud in the scientific community? scientific honesty must be maintained in order to remain credible. the penalty is professional excommunication
when is a hypothesis not scientific? when we do not have the means to prove it wrong
