dumpster diving	search through dumpsters or similar trash receptacles for edible food or items of value
skimming	the illegal practice of taking money from cash receipts for personal use
phishing	the fraudulent practice of sending emails purporting to be from reputable companies in order to induce individuals to reveal personal information, such as passwords and credit card numbers
pharming	the fraudulent practice of directing Internet users to a bogus website that mimics the appearance of a legitimate one, in order to obtain personal information such as passwords, account numbers, etc.
COPPA	The goal of COPPA is to place parents in control over what information is collected from their young children online.
Fraud	An illegal act that occurs when people try to trick you out of your personal information and your money.
Fair Debt Collection Practices Act	a federal law that limits the behavior and actions of third-party debt collectors who are attempting to collect debts on behalf of another person or entity.
