Question Answer
Destructive Plate Boundry When oceanic and continental crusts move together. Friction causes the oceanic plate to melt, triggering an earthquake, eg. Nazca and Soth American plate.
Conservative Plate Boundry Plates slide past each other in opposite directions, or in the same direction at different speeds. Friction is caused eg. San Andreas Fault.
Constructive Plate Boundry When plates move apart, volcanoes are formed to fill the gap and a new crust is formed, eg. Mid Atlantic Ridge.
