Buoyancy The tendency or capacity to remain afloat in a liquid or rise in air or gas
Mass The quantity and type of matter a substance contains
Volume The quantity of space occupied by a liquid, solid or gas.
The Particle Theory of Matter States that all matter is made up of vibrating particles. This can be used to predict changes to matter when energy is added or taken away.
