Waste bedding to go into wheelbarrow Sweep floor Lay bed Clean feed bowl and replace haynet. Provide fresh clean water. Tidy outside stable. Untie or return horse. Empty wheelbarrow, store tools tidily.
Skip Out Carried out regularly throughout the day. Tie horse up. Remove droppings. Tidy bed.
Deep Litter Labour-saving. Daily removal of droppings and visable wet. Fresh bedding added as necessary. Warm. Ideal for older horses/crew yards. May need a tractor when stable emptied.

Shavings Fork Narrow prongs, ideal for shavings, sawdust, hemp and paper
Automatic Drinker Labour and economic, could freeze, difficult to measure consumption, clean daily.
