| Is white light a single colour? | No. It is made up of many different colours. |
| What is the difference in black and white objects in relation to reflection? | Black objects absorb all light and white objects reflect it. |

| A Magenta light through a red filter will show a red light. Why is this? | Because Magenta is made up of blue and red light; the blue gets absorbed but the red goes through. |
| A red fliter followed by a blue filter will not show any light. Why is this? | Because the red filter absorbs all light apart from red, and so there is no blue light to go through the filter. |
| A blue t-shirt with red decoration looks like a black t-shirt with red decoration in red light. Why is this? | The decoration looksred because it reflects red light but the tshirt does not reflect erd light so appears to be black to your eye. |
